Drafts of the Constitutional laws are considered at a meeting of the Government

Today at a meeting of the Government drafts of the Constitutional laws "About amendments and additions in the Constitutional law "About Judicial System and the Status of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and "About Amendments and Additions in Some Constitutional Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning Improvement of the Civil Procedural Legislation" were considered and approved.

On April 20 of the current year the indicated drafts were presented to the Prime minister and members of the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The draft of the Constitutional law "About amendments and additions in the Constitutional law "About Judicial System and the Status of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan" has been developed in pursuance of an order of the Head of the State given at the VI congress of judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The made amendments are directed on improvement of pension provision of judges.

The draft of the Constitutional Law "About Amendments and Additions in Some Constitutional Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning Improvement of the Civil Procedural Legislation" is developed for making of the Constitutional laws "About Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan" and "About Judicial System and the Status of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan" consistent with provisions of new edition of the Civil Procedure Code.

In particular, considering that the draft of the Civil Procedure Code enters institute of the appeal of the judicial acts affecting electoral rights of citizens into the Constitutional law "About Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan" amendments, saving clauses about finality of some decisions of the first instance courts passed on such affairs are made.

The offered amendments will promote full implementation of electoral rights of citizens, and also providing their constitutional rights on judicial protection.
